These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. They maintain your login session so you do not have to sign in on every page. They also store your active role (school administrator, teacher, or student) and your institution's subdomain context, which is required to route you to the correct data.
These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core Platform functionality. They do not track you across third-party websites.
Usage Analytics Cookies
We use analytics tools to understand how administrators and teachers interact with the Platform — for example, which features are used most, where users encounter difficulties, and how navigation flows perform. This helps us prioritise improvements and fix usability issues.
Analytics data is collected in aggregate form and is not linked to individual student records. We do not share analytics data with advertisers. Where possible, we configure analytics tools with IP anonymisation enabled.
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience on the Platform. For example, they may store whether you have dismissed a help banner, your selected academic term view, or your preferred table sort order. They make the Platform feel more responsive to your working habits.
3. How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or restrict cookies. Below are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
Please note that blocking or deleting essential authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Platform. Disabling preference cookies will not prevent access but may affect the convenience of your experience.
For analytics cookies specifically, you can opt out by adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies. We do not currently display a cookie consent banner within the authenticated dashboard because the cookies we use there are either essential or low-risk analytics with IP anonymisation. Our public marketing website (this page) uses no tracking cookies.
4. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, new Platform features, or changes in applicable law. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify school administrators via email.
